Legal Notice

This page sets out the publishing details for The Snaefell Review, an independent magazine about the Isle of Man TT and the Snaefell Mountain Course. It explains who edits the site, how it is hosted, how it handles data, and how third party names and trademarks are treated.

Editor and publisher

The Snaefell Review is edited and published by its editorial team, which writes under the collective name The Snaefell Review editorial team. The site is an independent publication. It is not connected with the Isle of Man government, the race organisers, any motorcycle club, any team, any manufacturer or any other media organisation, and it does not act on behalf of any of them.

The contact address for editorial matters, corrections and rights enquiries is contact@marksttphotos.com. The site does not maintain a postal address for public correspondence.

Hosting

The site is a static publication served through a content delivery network. It does not run a content management system, a user account system or an advertising platform. Pages are generated in advance and delivered as files.

Data and privacy

The site does not ask visitors to register, does not set advertising cookies and does not sell or share personal data. Standard server and network logs may record technical information such as the pages requested, the referring address and an approximate location derived from the network address. Those logs are used to keep the site available and secure.

A visitor who sends an email to the contact address shares their email address and whatever they choose to write. That correspondence is used only to answer the message.

External links

Articles link to external sources, including public reference works and the official websites of race organisers and heritage bodies. Those sites are controlled by their own operators, and The Snaefell Review is not responsible for their content, their availability or their data practices. A link is provided as a source or as a pointer to more detail, not as an endorsement.

Where an article refers to a record, a measurement or a date, it names the body that maintains it, so a reader can check the original rather than take the summary on trust. The magazine does not reproduce large extracts from other publications, and it does not present another site's work as its own.

Names, trademarks and images

Names such as Isle of Man TT, TT, Tourist Trophy, Manx Grand Prix, Classic TT and Snaefell are used descriptively, to identify events, places and subjects that exist independently of this site. Any trademark rights in those names belong to their respective owners. Their use here does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, those owners.

The illustrations on this site are produced for the magazine. They are editorial images rather than photographs of identifiable people or of specific race incidents, and they are not offered as evidence of any real event. Where an article quotes a figure such as a lap record or a course measurement, the source is named in the article.

Accuracy and liability

The editorial team aims to publish accurate, sourced information and to correct errors when they are confirmed. The content is provided for general information. It is not professional advice, and it should not be relied on for decisions about travel, safety, equipment or attendance at any event. Visitors who attend a race are responsible for following the instructions of marshals, the police and the event organisers at all times.

Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated when the site changes how it is published or how it handles correspondence. The version published on this page is the current one, and it applies from the date of publication. A reader with a question about any part of it can write to the contact address above.

The site is published in English and is aimed at readers in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Isle of Man and elsewhere. Nothing on the site is intended to create a contractual relationship, and no part of it may be reproduced in bulk without permission. Short quotations with a credit and a link back to the article are welcome.
